In this walking route, together with "urbanwalks.ankara" from Ankara, participants will explore Yeşilköy, one of the most significant examples where the built environment shaped by Istanbul's multicultural and diverse social fabric can be comprehensively understood today. Along the route, participants will delve into various periods and layers of Yeşilköy, from the serene Ottoman-era summer retreat to the suburban settlement connected to the city by train during the Republic era. This urban route in Yeşilköy will take participants from figures like Nuri Demirağ to Halit Ziya Uşaklıgil, from the iconic Çınar Hotel to Röne Park, and from Crespin House to the Abdülmecit Fountain.

Notes:

The tour will commence in front of the Istanbul Congress Center.

All participants are required to be present in the area by 13:30 with their tour tickets.

Shuttles will be available to transport participants to the starting point of the route.
