Özgür Öcal

Özgür Öcal acts as the Programme Manager in the EU Delegation dealing with a portfolio of operations in the sectors such as competitiveness, MSME Financing, private sector development, technology, and innovation. He is in charge of technical assistance and infrastructure supports and financial engineering instruments for technology transfer, start-ups and SMEs (portfolio guarantees, loans and equity, etc.) co-financed with EU funds. He is the focal point for "Science and Research" chapter of the EU Acquis and Horizon Europe which is the latest and biggest EU Framework Programme for R&D supports. In the former years, he worked in the EU Delegation in the fields of finance and contracts. He possessed B.Sc degree in Environmental Engineering and MBA
