Michael Rosenberg Pedersen

Michael has a background in hydrogeology and have for the last 30 years been working professionally with different aspects of groundwater mapping, - protection and – remediation and water supply in Denmark and globally. Since joining the second largest water utility in Denmark “Aarhus Vand” back in 2011 the focus has been planning and operation, focusing on especially risk reduction, automation, digital transformation, and optimized operation. In 2020 he was posted for 2½ year at the Danish Consulate General in Silicon Valley, CA as Sector Expert on Water with a strong collaboration with authorities, regulators and Water Agencies across California and Texas. He is now back in Denmark and Aarhus Vand, to focus on strategic planning and further development of Aarhus Vand’s drinking water as head of department.
