Melike Nur Ülsever

Melike Nur Ülsever is a Smart Cities Expert Use Cases at BABLE. Melike holds a bachelor's degree in Sociology from Marmara University (Istanbul, Turkey) and a master's degree in Transforming City Regions from RWTH Aachen (Aachen, Germany). During the two-year interdisciplinary program, she professionally practiced and researched European territorial challenges in different scales. She understands strategies for sustainability, resilience, and risk-mitigation in city regions, and can conceptualize scenarios for future transformation. For her master thesis, she focused on the relationship between sustainable urban planning and happiness. Her professional experience includes working as a Research Assistant for 1 year and 6 months, followed by her current role as a Smart Cities Expert focused on Use Cases. Her expertise in understanding the quality of urban life is applied to this role. She also supports EU projects and serves as a representative for the Türkiye region. She is passionate about increasing the quality of urban life and designing cities to maximize sustainability and happiness.
