Hélène Olympe Andırır

French national education teacher, I have been living in Turkey since 2012, as I came to work as a teacher and then as a co-coordinator of French in the Tevfik Fikret schools, Izmir. Since moving to Geyikbayiri in 2017 and realising the ecological emergency, I have founded Nature et langues to offer education in sustainable development to children and adults through workshops and camps, in French and Turkish. Since 2022, I have been coordinator of the Climate Fresk in Turkey, to raise awareness of anthropocene climate change and encourage people to take action to reduce their carbon footprint.
