Alissar Hallak

I'm a 27-year-old social activist hailing from Bireh Akkar, Lebanon. I've been passionately involved in various sectors, including children, youth, and women's issues, for over 6 years, with a current focus on mental health as a social worker and human development trainer. My contributions extend to diverse activities and training sessions, with a specialisation in human rights, countering hate speech, combating fake news, nonviolent communication, war memory reconciliation, mental health, psychological support, and addressing gender-based violence. I've had the privilege of collaborating with esteemed organizations such as UNDP, Unicef, INGOs, NGOs, and various initiatives. I'm also the founder of the initiative: 1-Reesala : initiative funded by the French Embassy and in cooperation with the Adyan Network within the initiatives that incubate diversity under the goal of the importance of youth participation in municipal work, decision-making, knowledge of effective communication methods and constructive dialogue with a particular dedication to empowering and advocating for youth. My mission is to make a positive impact on society through my work in social activism and mental health."
