Letters from Women

In this project, which brings together women from refugee and local communities, letters with photograps are exhibited. Women from various multicultural groups living in different districts of Istanbul were asked to photograph an object related to their lives and write letters in which they could share their emotions, thoughts, and wishes associated with this object. Through these contributions, a window is opened into the common values and emotions, illustrating how life in Istanbul, in both the present and the future, influences their experiences as women.
