Serkan Yüksel

Serkan Yüksel was born in İzmir in 1980. He completed his undergraduate degrees in both İstanbul Bilgi University, High Honors Programme in Management and Economics and also London Schools of Economics, Bsc in Economics. He started his graduate studies in Bilkent Univesity where he was appointed as instructor in Economics Department. After completing his Master of Arts in Economics he has received his degree “Master of Science in Financial Econometrics” from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. During his PhD studies, he has lectured in various universities and completed academic studies in economics, finance and capital markets. After his short experience in private bank, he has worked at Independent Businessman Association in various departments. He has worked in Borsa İstanbul A.Ş. (İstanbul Stock Exchange) where he has worked in Research, Strategic Development, Business Development and Chief of Staff Departments. Dr.Serkan Yüksel was appointed in Finance Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey as “The Director of İstanbul Finance Center Department in 2018. He is married with two children.
