Mustafa Sarı

Prof. Dr. Mustafa SARI is a Maritime Faculty member at Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University. Prof. Dr. Sarı is a member of the Science and Technical Board established within the Marmara Municipalities Union within the scope of the Marmara Sea Action Plan. The problem-based social participation model he developed after working on the conservation of the Lake Van pearl mullet for many years brought a new perspective to nature conservation. Focusing on the sustainability of Marmara Sea fishing in recent years, Sarı has been informing the public by monitoring the ecological effects of mucilage with regular dives every week since April 2021.
