Melda Horoz

Melda Horoz, born in Istanbul in 1978, pursued her educational journey by first completing high school at Nişantaşı Girls' High School. She subsequently graduated from Yıldız Technical University, Faculty of Architecture, Department of City and Regional Planning in 1998. In 2001, she completed her master's degree at Yıldız Technical University, Institute of Science and Technology, Department of Urbanization. Commencing her career in a private architecture and planning office in 1998, she transitioned to the role of Urban Planner at the Transportation Planning Branch Directorate of our Institution in 2000. Since May 2020, she has served as the Deputy Director in the same directorate, where she oversees high-scale transportation planning matters, including the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan, Transportation Master Plan, and Parking Lot and Bus Terminal Area Planning Projects. She was appointed as Transportation Planning Branch Manager as of September 2022.
