On the very first day of MARUF23, as we take a step into resilience and beyond, we refresh our memories. We listen to our fundamental rights which are a part of urban life, from experts in the field at the “Urban Basics” sessions. In this session, we will learn about the “right to food," which is a fundamental human right protected by the 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Despite its status as a basic human right, it is still not equated with political and civil rights, especially in Western countries, and faces serious risks.
