Migration, Asylum and Local Cohesion Debates in the Framework of National and Global Policies

04 Oct 2023 11:30 - 12:30 @ Room 1

#Cohabitation #Cooperation #Inequalities #Migration

The issue of migration and asylum, in particular with the influence of Syrian and Ukrainian refugees, has become one of the world’s most significant political and social challenges, especially in Europe. Responsibility-sharing in migration governance on a global-scale, initiatives developed by civil society and local governments in local integration processes, and collaboration models, including their limitations, will be discussed in this session.
