In light of the earthquakes that occurred in Türkiye in February, we will discuss what we have learned, with a focus on social services and the insights gained from them, regarding how societal well-being can be ensured and how to respond effectively in disaster situations. In Part 1, we will listen to the experiences of local governments, that are located in earthquake-stricken areas and those trying to deliver aid. In Part 2, organizations specialized in crisis management and disaster response, as well as those with significant efforts in delivering aid to disaster areas, will share their processes of providing social services in the earthquake-stricken region.
