05 Oct 2023 11:30 - 12:30 @ Urban Atelier
#PlaceMaking #PublicSpace #Gamification #UrbanPlanning
In this workshop, the newly released Neighborhood Making - HEY! Imaginable Guidelines: Community edition created by Alexis Şanal (ŞANALarc) will be played, and the flexible and resilient public spaces highlighted in the previous "Deep Dive into Public Space Design | Resilient for All" session will be deliberated. The Congress Valley, which houses the Istanbul Congress Center where MARUF is located, will serve as the backdrop for participants to reimagine and co-create public spaces that promote social, economic, climate, and post-disaster resilient public spaces. This workshop is not just for designers and urban planners; it's for everyone in the community who desires to live in sustainable, lovable, walkable, and resilient public spaces.
