04 Oct 2023 17:30 - 18:30 @ Room 6
Is a city merely a setting or backdrop for events to take place? "Fiction and Beyond: The City in Science Fiction" session brings writers, translators, and academics together to explore the relationship between science fiction and cities. Key questions to be addressed in the session include how science fiction relates to the city, how personal experiences and cultural factors influence this relationship, and how cities reflect their role in the future of human societies.
